Calling All Volunteers

Without COmmunity Involvement We Struggle to OPerate!

Did you know it takes 17 volunteers each Wednesday to run our Co-op?  For the past month we have only had 9 volunteers.  What does this mean? We have to pay people to stay around and work these shifts.  Thus we have less money to stock the market with produce.  Would you consider picking up a shift??  We really need you.  All you have to do is go to Volunteer Spot and sign up for a shift.  We will help you get trained on the job. 

The Co-Op Needs You!

We love our volunteers and we're always sad to lose them. We wish joy and bounteous blessings to Lene Hedegaard, Raina Willick and their families as they welcome new babies any minute now. Good luck ladies and many thanks for your cheerful, ready help!

That means we have some slots open, so please give me a shout if you want to lend a hand.

Too busy to volunteer? Look around you! Just two hours helping CCC will reap great benefits for someone else. Know students wanting volunteer opportunities? Able, active seniors? Co-workers? Neighbors? Folks whose lives and budgets would be improved by excellent organic food underwritten by volunteer credit? Send them our way!

Volunteer Benefits

Volunteers work two-hour shifts, and for each shift, earn $10 in veggie vouchers. Volunteers who are already co-op members can apply the entire $10 toward produce in our open market or a future share order. Volunteers who are not co-op members, must designate $4 to co-op membership (until they meet the $48 annual fee) and can spend the remaining $6 in the open market or on a future share order.
