PRODUCE FAQs
Q. When is the produce list updated on the website?
A. Each Friday we post a list of the items we have ordered for following week - our wish lists. We are in the hands of Mother Nature as to whether items will actually be available 5 day later when we receive the produce.
Q. Do I have to buy a share?
A. No. You can order a share if you like, or you can shop in the Fresh Market area. Shares ordered before Sunday at 6pm can be picked up the following Wednesday at the Grace Lutheran coop.
Q. So, Membership is required to purchase from Central City Co-op?
A. Yes. There are three options and I think you will agree that one of these is bound to work for most everybody. First, you could pay the straight annual membership for $48. Second, you could volunteer 18 hours with the co-op, thereby earning your membership with 'sweat equity'. Third, you can purchase a Dollar Day Pass every time you want make your organic food purchases at Central City Co-op. [ click to learn more ]
